Twice As Nice

I don’t care how many times I’ve cried this song before
I just know that every time there’s a sucker on the floor
You just get up an’ bounce right back, never crawl, no don’t do that
Lift your face an’ turn your head, was it something that you said
Left you feeling low and kind of dirty

Tell me something I don’t know
I know magic stuff can happen just as water turns to snow
She said, try strawberry ice
Close your eyes I’ll whisper something, tell me if it feels twice as

Why does Einstein’s theory not allow for any torque?
If atoms are just mostly space, what’s beneath me when I walk?
What to be or not to be? I pinch myself an’ prove it’s me
Lift my face, turn my head, so I look at her instead
I watch her through the dark, I see her smiling

Tell me something that you fear
Then let it slip away, dissolve and disappear
She said, come around an’ take a ride
It’s just might feel twice as nice, once you find yourself inside

I don’t count how many times I’ve been upon the floor
Cos’ baby if I did I’d be here counting ever more
I just let life come fill me up, over flow my bleedin’ cup
Know the worth of everyday, love everybody come what may
Bring sunshine to a dark and troubled day

Tell me something I don’t know
I know magic stuff can happen just as water turns to snow
She said, try strawberry ice
Close your eyes I’ll whisper something, tell me if it feels twice as nice
